There have been many different vinyl covers since the invention of the record. The iba Smartsleeve, however, is different. Listen to your favorite records and admire our vinyl covers, designed to stand out. If you take a closer look, you will see that they are much thicker and more durable than standard covers. #
Our iba Smartsleeve (also called Tip-On Cover) and our Mediabook® Vinyl-Size (special hardcover variant) are based on printed sheets of paper. After the individual finishing (varnish or foil), they are laminated around the cardboard core. In addition to numerous design options, our vinyl covers are made to impress with their high stability and quality. Our fully automated production ensures consistent quality, and we manufacture the Smartsleeve in both single and gatefold covers.
With the gatefold variant, a firmly glued-in booklet is also possible – a real iba original!
We manufacture limited series with hot-foil embossed numbering, and our box sets for records are ideal for collectors.

Ask for templates:
We provide dimensional sketches and layout templates for printed IBA vinyl covers free of charge, and are happy to customize dimensions to your specifications.
Share the planned volume of content for your IBA vinyl covers, and depending on your needs, we can either use a standard format or create a tailored solution.
Fitting layout:
Once you have received your personal layout template, you can proceed with the following:
insert your desired layout and adapt it to the given format. Industry standards such as Adobe Creative Cloud are ideally suited for this.
Please make sure that you use the CMYK color model and high-resolution images with at least 300 DPI as well as fonts that have already been integrated.
Sending print files:
You upload your finished print data to our FTP server. Alternatively, please send us a link. We need a print-ready PDF. Please send us the booklet pages as individual pages.
We print using digital or offset printing. Your printed iba vinyl cover will be produced promptly. The average delivery time is approx. 12-15 days.

Printing: Our offset printing is the best guarantee for a perfect print result. All special colors are also possible in offset printing. We optionally offer numbering or serialization, for a particularly high-quality result even by means of hot foil stamping.
Embossing: Hot foil or blind embossing always looks pretty stylish and classy!
Surface: Our print finishing made of PP film protects the print. The matt finish has a noble effect, a glossy structured surface is robust, a “soft touch” PP film needs to be touched.
